Bio:

Anna Marie Walker was always bright and athletic. She and her brother Cameron grew up in a military family, and as a result they traveled around the country frequently as their parents were stationed in different parts of the world. Cameron is 8 years older than Anna, and has always been overprotective, even finding a job in Boston when she was admitted to MIT in order to keep an eye on her. She double majored in Mathematics and Linguistics, resulting in her recruitment into the CIA during the Fall of her Senior year. While at MIT, she was mentored by a graduate student, Karl Kuan, and together they built his first automaton, as a Maker project using spare parts and an Xbox. During her last term at MIT, her friend Karl failed the quals resulting in him taking the automaton going on a wild rampage across campus. She threw herself between Karl with his automaton and a group of innocent freshmen, crying “STOP!” and bracing herself for the incoming assault. Karl did indeed stop, since she had accidentally triggered her powers for the first time, stunning him and mirroring his ability to control the automaton. Karl spent the remainder of the term at McLean Hospital and Anna left for CIA training. After a year “on the farm” and two years of courier missions, she was finally assigned her first real mission – she was tasked to turn an asset. When the very real consequences and dangers of recruiting an innocent into the CIA became apparent, Anna couldn’t complete her mission. Anna resigned before she could be brought before a hearing on her competence as an agent. The CIA still watches her, but so far has not interfered – they are aware of her powers and believe that she will outgrow her naive views in time (and hopes to recruit her back once she has experienced more of the world). Anna’s brother, Cameron, doesn’t know of her CIA or superheroic activities, and would endanger himself trying to protect her or persuade her not to engage in dangerous activities if he should find out.
